☕ Project: Naga Hammadi Sugar Factory – Sugarcane Waste Composting

📍Naga Hammadi, Qena Governorate, Egypt

🌍 Project Overview

Baramouda partnered with Naga Hammadi Sugar Factory (El Hawamidiyya Sugar Company) in Naga Hammadi, Qena Governorate, Egypt, to recycle 160,000 tons of sugarcane residues. Instead of discarding this agricultural waste, Baramouda transformed it into 64,000 tons of compost, which was used to regenerate 12,800 acres of farmland— improving soil health, boosting yields, and supporting sustainable agriculture in Upper Egypt.
